Evelyn raised an eyebrow in playful surprise, her expression lighting up as Rip mentioned a study—a cross between an office and a library.

"Well now, that is surprising,"

she murmured, amusement dancing in her eyes.

As they stepped inside, she let her fingers trail over the bookshelves, savoring the feel of the room. She ran her slim fingers along the edge of the desk, then turned to Rip with a mischievous glint in her eye before perching herself on the edge of the desk.

"Well, Rip,"

she said, a teasing smile playing on her lips,

"I’ll try not to bother you too much when you’re in here. But I can’t promise I won’t intrude occasionally, especially when the only business I have with you is personal."

She chuckled softly, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

"And thank you for letting me know I’m welcome in your sanctuary and workspace. It’s nice to know I have a place here, even in your most sacred domain."

Otis is happy, and getting old, kinda like me, AND, the back of my golf cart flips up so people can ride, and down so you can haul vegetables, lots of them phallic like, peppers, and lord, those zucchini are barbaric, soo, but, and of course we don't grow corn anymore, Otis is older and the repetitive motion of shucking corn seemed to be affecting my equilibrium.

That oh so familiar voice catches her attention and she looks around to see the lovely .... reece.

Got some big uns, several six, Seven, maybe eight feet tall, and the bed is forty yards long, stepped it off; I do about three feet a stride, anyway, dang right, and it cost like fifteen bucks, used half a bag of triple nineteen fertilizer, and about six dollars worth of flower seed.

*laughs*. It's all good. I have a golf cart too. *Grins*. But not nearly as much property as you have.

"My study."

Smiles.

"So what have you been up to today? I went to court and got a new headset that doesn't work. Not this headset. This is a backup one we have. And now it's working fine."
