She didn't hear anything from inside and so, she suspected he must be out somewhere. Turning, she went up on a platform and stopped there, not wanting to get in the way of anything and then she saw him busy with work. A hand came to rest on the railing of the steps she just climbed up and she observed from a distance. Wasn't really sure what she was watching but, he was very focused and she wasn't going to be a distracting factor right now.

*shortly after the foreman sees the signal he swings his hammer twice, the first loud wack heard knocked the block holding the ship in place partially was moved, and with that a low groan was heard from the ship. To any other that sound was just heavy wood creaking but to me that sound was primal, it was the sound of a predator waking from a long sleep. With the second loud wack of the hammer the block went flying into the open area of the drydock and the ship started to move, slowly at first then faster and faster until it finally slid into the water. I couldn't help but smile as the skeleton crew on deck took over, thier ship finally floated and it was plain as day to see the crew took pride in thier work*

She had been busy doing things today, as she got her hands on some stuff for the hospital that got liberated a week ago, so there was progress there. As she came up to his office door, she preened a little. Fixes her hair, tucking it behind her ears, straightens out her dress, and pulls on the cuffs of her sleeves, just dusting off and adjusting her satchel bag and then she knocks on the door... she wasn't just going to walk in, it was his office and he might be busy.

*walking along the path in front of the drydocks, watching intently as the last of the work was finished and a skeleton crew was on deck of the first ship. Standing in front of number four drydock as the last of the hands retreat to safety and I give the signal to the foreman to float the ship*
