Clarity comes, slowly her eyes open; the pain is nothing but a dull ache, though her body is stiff, a bit sore, the stretch to relive it comes with a surprise. Again, she attempts to move only to prove what had been exposed the first time: ankles are bound, and so are her hands; her what? She kicks, the muttered ouch when reality becomes more apparent; the kick with bare toes hurts because it hits something solid? Solid? Her head was twisting about, braids becoming unbraided in her face, and in a futile attempt to blow them away failed miserably; her vision was lined from the hanging woven dark hair, but it was clear enough that she could see she was in a box. With the stream of light rays spreading on the wall of the trunk, the fabric lining exposed, something in her recent memory she knows the …. The trunk, she is in a trunk. The movement comes, and the trunk seems to sway only to righten and start again, listening to sounds other than her heartbeat frantic in her ears. The fogginess leaves as memories, fire and sounds, scents, movements, and what little sight she has, a ship, it's a ship… a trunk, a ship, and the dawning comes…… Drawing in a breath, she lets out a call.
