Changed them out at the food bowls this morning. Bean came home from his 12 day journey without a collar and the kittens had outgrown theirs so they hadn't been wearing them and probably wouldn't be now if I could tell them apart by looking at them.

The clowder is not keen on the new collars. They are really darling little pointed bow ties in summer ginghams. Pink for Ariel, Blue for Fig and a grass green for Bean. There's a red one too for Sweet Pea but that may never come to fruition.

I bought the collars to identify the siblings Fig and Ariel. They're identical. Her head is smaller but last night Blue was spooning with Bean and Pink was prowling up my chest to lick me and I realized that I'd mis collared them.

I hope he heals fast; I know you'll take good care of him.
