after I finished my chores at the lodge I came to the barn to herd up the goats to take them to the rocky pasture by the lake, they were adaptable by nature to feed in those rocky areas better then any other animal...I had a staff in my hand and was tapping the ones getting out of line and as I did I got a strange reaction from Damnable

"You, get over here, lead your tribe Damnable, what is wrong with you?"

the words were no sooner out of my mouth then he put his head down and pawed the ground, that look he had when angry, my right eyebrow raised and my look was fierce as my voice took on stern edge not often used with him

"Do not dare charge me Damnable or I will turn you over to the stew pot myself!"

with that he started coming in my direction and rather then get hit by those tough horns, I stepped aside to the opening to the door and he flew by me and headed out into the village

it took a moment for me to realize that was not a good idea either as I was not sure what was wrong with him, he had never acted like this, ever...and he had never been aggressive toward me....that would not abode well with my mate...I needed to find him first before I figured things out

I left the barn and headed out to the village
