Xavier leaned back in his chair, a warm smile spreading across his face as he listened to Te'Sirian. It was indeed strange to see his uncle so relaxed, but it was also refreshing.

"Yeah, I get it, Uncle Te. It's good to see you taking a breather. You deserve it," Xavier said, his tone light and genuine.

He took a sip of his own drink, considering the situation. "It's a shame about the village Druid. Things have been rough with the vampires, so I understand why she might have left. But still, it's disappointing."

Xavier glanced at Teagan, giving her a reassuring smile. "Teagan, I know this means a lot to both of you, and we'll find the right person for the ceremony. The priest could be a good option, but it’s important that you both feel comfortable with whoever you choose...heck if there is a healer in the village still why you all waiting...get it done already!

He had to smile to jynx who voiced that she enjoyed helping to plan.

"See Teagan you even have help..."

He looked back at Te'Sirian, his expression serious yet supportive. "Reaching out to the priest and talking to Aunt Rusche are good steps. Maybe even see if there’s someone else in the village who could step up, like that healer person. Sometimes the best people for these things are the ones you least expect."

Raising his glass, Xavier met his uncle's eyes. "Here's to making it a day to remember and to new beginnings. Family is what matters most, and we'll get through everything together."

He took a sip, feeling the warmth of the moment. "And if you need any help with the arrangements or anything else, just let me know. We’re here for you, Te'Sirian."

After a brief pause, Xavier continued, his tone becoming more serious. "And Uncle Te, once we’ve had a chance to catch up and relax a bit, we should talk about the situation around the village. I’ve been hearing things, and I want to make sure we’re all on the same page about what’s been happening. It’s important we stay informed and ready to handle whatever comes our way."

Xavier felt a rare sense of contentment, surrounded by family and the promise of good times ahead, but he knew they couldn’t ignore the challenges facing them.
