"I've no doubt. I've seen how possessive your beef sticks are. "Might make you wonder is she going along with the joke or just not doubting it wouldn't be the first body to disappear out there?
She winked back as she took another bite of her sandwich and you spoke. She'd washed it down and was glad she'd swallowed the drink before you answered bout the job.
"Wait. Hold up."
She licked the grease from her fingertips and then reached for her napkin to wipe her face and hands. Motioning to herself.
"THIS works, and still works too."
She smirked as she put the napkin down and reached for another chip.
"Hell this works hard." she laughed, balled up the napkin and tossed it at you.
"Maybe take up a dancing class or something? They've got some classes out at the gym. It'll give you something to do."
Note to self: one moon rock birthday cake requested for C.M. when I return home in a couple of weeks.

She couldn't help but laugh when you said that her security might have killed him and buried him on the property. Looking at her sandwich with an audiable mmmm she picked it up to take a bite"Well he wouldn't be the first to disappear, it's dangerous out there ya know."
She grinned as she chewed giving you a wink that feeling of was she joking or telling the truth type of vibe.
When you mention something about her getting a job she almost choked on her food once she had finally chewed and taken a sip of her soda she waved a hand back and forth as she took a breath.
"Oh HELLLLL no"
she used her hands and motioned them up and down her body
"This, this does NOT work. At least not a job"
she chuckled as she picked up her sandwich and took another bite

Angela came back with your soda and sandwich as well as hers. She thanked her and she smiled and asked if there was anything else we needed. She was good, but were you? Was there anything else Angela could get you?
She picked at her chips , popping one into her mouth as she listened to you.
"I'm not looking for bodyguard work. You're not the first person who asked and thought they'd wear me down about it."
She lifted a half of her sandwich and took a bite. Washed it down with a drink of her coke.
"Hell, maybe you should get a job Vic." she teased .
"Not that you need the money but it'll be something to keep you busy. I haven't seen Herc in a while either. New guy? He ghosted you? What an asshole. Are you sure on e of the beefsticks just didn't approve and buried him somewhere on your property?"
Again she was teasing.
"Maybe you need to find a hobby or something, princess."
We’re headed south to LA. Just left Hearst Castle. What an amazing place. Now we’re headed to the coastal highway for even more scenic views. Love you guys.

Elarra smiled as she watched Rip interact with Curly, feeling a sense of warmth and contentment wash over her. The bond between them was palpable, a testament to the unexpected connections that life often brings."Curly's in good hands,"
she replied, her voice soft with reassurance.
"And I'm glad we have each other as friends too."
As Rip mentioned the distant location he pointed out, Elarra's curiosity was piqued. The prospect of exploring new territory was both thrilling and daunting, but she couldn't deny the pull of adventure.
"I think I do want to go there,"
she admitted, her eyes bright with excitement.
"It sounds like an opportunity we shouldn't pass up."
She met Rip's wink with a playful grin, feeling a surge of courage as she stepped closer to him. Her hands found their way to his arm, holding onto him for support and companionship.
"I think you might be onto something, Rip,"
she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I've missed being close to you like this. Maybe it's time we explore more than just the riverbanks together."
