Finding my way to my sadly neglected home. Weary footsteps and trouble thoughts furrow brow as I step into my familiar space.

Blinking and looking around at the beautiful flowers which remain perfectly formed and fresh, a grin at the sight of the balloon. Shaking my head as a soft chuckle rises Only you, Jhada, only you". The delight has transformed my lips into a wide, appreciative smile.

Walking deeper into the room, gently poking the balloon so that the string dances over the lovely blooms, pausing to read the words left behind.

Sighing softly as fingertips trail along the flowers, tracing their outlines as I settle comfortably into my chaise, feet drawn upwards to rest against rounded rump.

Thank you Jhada. You've made my night and yes, I was surrounded by love, thoughtful gifts, family and friends,a drag queen or two

It is I who am lucky that you put up with my quiet, introspective moods that seem more frequent these days and happily, I repeat, happily I'm stuck in the middle with you winking as I think of who is on my left and who is on my right
