They are Brother. When I was a boy I went into the Delta with Brown, and we had with us a pair of old bowmen. At the time I was concerned for these men, and foolishly thought I'd be the one protecting them. That was until I watched them shoot jumping fish for our dinner and sport!

With a final nod of acknowledgment to Marshal Colton and Blaze, Zebediah watched as the Marshal made his way towards the door. As the weight of the evening's events settled upon him, he couldn't help but feel a sense of determination to see the investigation through to its conclusion, no matter the cost.

He finds himself glancing up at the sky momentarily.

Wiggles around a bit.

"I had to deal with trash stuff. Take care out there."

Waves and exits stage left.

"The Delta is a dangerously wild place of marsh and reeds and ever shifting lands. One can become very lost in the Delta if you are not familiar with the way. These poleman know this Delta like the back of their hands. They are our lifeline to civilization."

"That's a shit deal. My parents taught me how to live life as best they could."

Nods.

"I have a hamper for my clothes, was taught how to properly make a bed, and was shown how to keep a tidy space. My mom was a saint and I miss her every day. She actually cared about our wellbeing. I will always feel bad for not calling her more while she was alive."

Shrugs.

He paused for a moment before continuing, his tone firm yet empathetic.

"In the meantime, I'd advise you not to travel anywhere out of town," Colton advised, his gaze locking with Zebediah's. "And if you do, make sure to come in and let me know. We need to keep communication open during this investigation."

With that, Colton rose, preparing to take his leave. He offered a nod of farewell to Zebediah and Blaze before heading towards the door, his mind already focused on the next steps in unraveling the mystery surrounding Hank's death.
