~only the aesthetics had been left up to the Lady of the Sands, of course.. the builders had already assessed the whole gardens area and marked the prime locations that could support additional pools of water, and others had given their input into the vegetation, even aquatics that would embellish the existing system of artificial marsh that linked pond to pond in a nearly unseen chain, a gravity fed trickle beneath lush greenery fed by slave power careful management~

~the gardens supported a diversity that was both educational and entertaining, drawing both Taharians and travelers to experience their wonders.. the arid higher ground had been where the Lady had learned the desert plants, and a few of the creatures that had dared to show themselves.. and which prickly things should be given wide berth, for there are many~

~but the waters made this section of the gardens an oasis all their own.. and this new one would be in the best spot, one that provided ample shade as well as being the lower level of the gardens.. it wasn't as low as the city well but it was close, and much flora found enough water here to thrive.. the small pools enhance the microclimate of the gardens, and a side effects made a stroll cooler than one might expect in the desert~

~finally, this business complete, until the newest pool was complete and ready filled at least.. she turned on her heel.. lifting hand to shelter her gaze towards Tor-tu-Gor and estimate the ahn.. late enough to call the day done as far as she was concerned~

Now, I am off to find a meal

~the builders and others laughed, agreeing and small gathering dispersed as she made her way back the way she'd come from, disappearing up the path, a plethora of ever present guards both ahead and behind~
