Zebediah glanced over at Rip, a knowing smile playing on his lips.

"Yeah, some things never change, do they? That sign’s been there longer than any of us can remember. Feels good to know some things stay the same."

He maneuvered the wagon carefully, keeping pace with Rip’s horse.

"Zach and that temper of his... It was like striking a match near a powder keg. But hey, it kept things lively. And you're right, some mysteries are worth keeping. Adds a bit of spice to life...I did so enjoy lighting that match..."

Zebediah's eyes scanned the familiar landscape as they continued onto the ranch.

"Speaking of juicy conversations, I bet we’ll have plenty more of those once we’re all together again. Just like old times."

With a final nod, Zebediah focused on the path ahead. The warmth of old memories and the promise of new ones filled him with contentment as they made their way back home.

Dogtown
This is a great place to keep a firm grasp on your surroundings. She's a walking testament to that. Though she was less fatal than most things in Dogtown.

The sword she honestly thought was just for show, so when your hand went for it she'd stupidly kept walking until you were well into the swing and she couldn't just vanish.

So her eyebrow waggle turned into an eyebrow lift.

You told her to speak and she swallowed hard. Well that was complicated. She had her hands up, she arched her back so that her jacket opened more and you could see inside, she wasn't armed. Well she had a pair of heavy knuckles but those were in a pocket. She tilted her head down to where the water recyler was.

Then a soft robotic voice came from her shoulder.

Chill Choom. I'm here to help you.

Her wide whiskey colored eyes met yours. She offered you what she hoped was a bright 'Hey don't stab me I'm cute' look. She didn't look like much. A scrawny, windswept, sunbaked woman. Killing her would be almost so easy as to be cruel.

Catching her, different story... usually. Usually she doesn't get caught by swordpoint.

The Camp slaves were a good group, none tried to openly cause trouble for others - that's not to say there wasn't competition for the attention of Men. This one got a kick out of watching the slaves compete.
