He stood at the railing of the ship. He had not slept good last night. He dreamed he was back on Tyros in Kasra. It was so vivid. They had been sailing now for 13 days. Port Kar was in sight. So was the ship of Tyros just off their starboard bow.A member of the crew had called him to the deck as they had received a signal from the ship of Tyros. The Captain of the ship from the island wanted to board to speak. He watched as the anchor splashed down and the small craft from the other ship was seen rowing across the waters of the Tamber Gulf towards their own ship.
The first mate of the Wolves ship took up position next to him and began to speak about the time spent in Kasra. There was much speculation on the ship about the events that transpired in Kasra. He had not spoken about them to anyone. The First mate spoke about how they were treated during their time on Kasra. The men had wanted for nothing. They were provided with the best of foods, drink, and kajira. However, they were confined to the the building they were in. In effect they were well treated prisoners. But they were prisoners all the same. He did not reply and when the man finished and paused his speaking he was met with only a nod. He looked confused at the Wolf. He then spoke of how he was sure the Wolves would be teaching Tyros a lesson on this one with a jovial tone. Then the Wolf finally spoke.
"Tyros made its stance pretty clear."
The silence hung thickly in the air afterward. You could tell the man was not pleased with the response. He then finally turned quickly and walked away to see to his duties. He would not speak against a Wolf. He did turn several times and look back over his shoulder angrily. The Wolf tuned his gaze back over the side of the ship as the small boat with several men pulled along side and they climbed up on to the ships deck.

I enjoy reading your observations of the deer, and yeah, lord, I've grown tender hearted in my old age; I get it about the excitement of the hunt; that is in our genes, but geez, I like seeing the large wildlife.
