Holly, paradox of long-sleeved turtleneck and short-shorts, tumbled the expanse of empty living room over the mercifully padded carpet, winding up on top of you as the automatic air randomly kicked in just around then, tossing her disheveled hair and stirring whatever dark, jammy, orchid and cinnamon that she was wearing.
Her lips had that same essence, laced with the slightest capsaicin lip-plumper that would leave a spicy note wherever she kissed you back.

"Fine, then. Instead of 'I ain't worth the trouble', lemme pivot to 'You can't handle this bitch' — does that make you feel better?"

She avoided a second time, doubling down after being absolutely rightfully called out, simply resting over your body with her elbows down both sides of your ribs as she draped over you, eyes down under half-dusk contemplation.
Whatever opaque curtain of thoughts separated her from you, extended up from the complementary contour of their (clothed) bodies, a scarce border that conveyed growing heat…

"…I mean I can get into it, but at least take some ownership of your desire for access," she was still talking about your curiosity about her and Brix… right?

"With all of the things sitting on your queue…" Holly had to stretch a bit in order to reach your lips again, the chill of the air conditioning tempting her to urge more solidly against you, her tossed hair reducing your view of the ceiling lights like a blonde jungle canopy. As she sought to adjust her posture and hook thumbs against your collar, however, there was a knock on the door. Baked goods and beverages.
