*feeling bleary-eyed and tired, stopping by for a coffee this morning. Bruce asks me about dinner, with a twinkle in his eye and I smile about hanging with my girls. But... It made me think too. We started talking about dreams and retirement. I told them my dream of retiring at 58, getting my camper and my trip across the States. And a couple of things sprang to mind. It started with their excitement of the idea. They all want to go. And in my head, I realized.. I have never thought of anyone going with me. I've always dreamed of it being a solo trip. Not even with my boys, which makes sense since they won't be with me by then. Has to think about that a little. What that means.

Gets my coffee, and thanks him before ducking back out to work*.
