Walking in barefooted and naked.

He sat alone. Tucked into a corner of the bar at a small table, a slight oasis from the laughter and the music that dominated the rest of the room. His thick fingers tapped against the glass of his half-finished drink.

To the rest of the world, he seemed like he could be bored. But really, his mind was working. Reaching out. Invisible tendrils reaching out the minds of the others within...testing...searching for something that catches his interest.

She took her time walking over, waiting until all the singing and touching was over. She's not much of a hugger with people she's not at ease with. So she's keeping away from that touchy feely circle until all the hugging and singing has passed.

She stayed just on the outside of the kumbaya circle, until all the kumbaya ya's were out.

Honestly, she can only watch as you climb up on a boulder with a microphone, make a joke about people touching Leo without consent, bring up a spotlight on them, and then have someone bring out a cake with sparklers. Like... everything adds up to the version of Leo she knows and the one you know being very different people.

But, she turns to Leo Sterling with a grin and sings along with the crowd, a step back so he has the cake to himself, without her holding onto him.

Another announcement came over the mic and her scarred eyebrow rose up. What was she walking into?
