What you forget is that you've taken up with a madman who loves all manner of weather.

Just think of what you've seen me run in.

All manner of weather in all manner of locale, or at least the locales I manage to frequent. And we've quite an itinerary of them coming up. Does that make this a calm before a storm?

It is wondrously calm, as we amble into the gardens, which smell just as lovely as promised. I've a hand at the small of your back, quite possibly to guide your path as well as the welcome contact.

Alas, I've brought nothing the least breadlike. We should be forced to cast off garments.

And then be quite mindful of any thorns.
