"You were great in that movie Jennifer's Body. It was amazing to watch you work."Nods lots.
"Hey, you wanna get outta here...with me? We could just hang out at my place for a while."
Shrugs.
"Come on. What've you got to lose?"
Smiles. You seem to get a lot of attention. Lol.
I'm more of a private guy....
Stepping in for a night cap...
Moments before, he had been reminiscing with the darling young woman across from him, when he saw her eyes move past him, the shift in her attention commanding his own. But the warmth he witnessed there in her expression has him on relaxed footing, one which became all the more complete with the sound of your voice. He turned, pushing himself up from the table, to offer his hand, the two men shaking like the old friends they were. “Kincaid, good to see you, man!”
He turned his attention to the redhead at your side, a dark brow dancing up, an undercurrent of what could only be mirth emanating from the man. He did not ask to be introduced or indeed, speak to the young lady first, that was not the done thing. Instead, he waited in the knowledge that you would make the introductions.
um.... nice to meet you and yes I am
well it's good to be recognized
Comes in here and stumbles to the bar a little. She orders a shot and shoots it back once it's delivered. Then looks to you."Hi! I'm Seven! You're Amanda Seyfried!"
Smiles warmly to you.
Smiles. Well I am not upset. You did catch my eye when I walked in. I think I recognize you. Smiles.
And it grows bigger
hmmm just one of the workers here/ first time I met her
Her gaze had met yours across the room, and even at a distance you could see the twinkle in those fathomless blue eyes as they held your own. Although she had seen you as soon as you and your quite charming companion had entered the dining room, taking advantage of those few moments before you had noticed her to observe you both.Interesting.
“Alexander – Alexander Kincaid.” The heavily accented Italian drawl as she says your name, twice, is as warm as the smile that deepens the lines of a face whose beauty had been dimmed by age, but left the woman no less striking for it. Although, was it your imagination or did she look less… ‘old’ than usual?
“How delightful to see you again.” As if she hadn’t just seen you this morning, slipping out of her granddaughter’s bedroom. But then, her discretion was for your companion rather than you. “And you could never intrude, bambino.” she said with a throaty chuckle, then adding as if this was just some casual get-together “Gideon and I were just enjoying a catch-up over some tea.”
Her companion obviously needed no introduction. Yours, however…
She let her gaze drift over Delilah Darling, concealing the depth of her curiosity behind a politely composed countenance.
I didn't mean to scare off your friend.
