Feeling the straps fed down the back of her head and buckled to her new collar then a stap is fed down the front of her face seeing it splits to run on eother side of her nose ending in steel rings, side straps are buckled alsso the collar her head now encased in a leather cage of straps

She blushes soft as he gets irritated at the other patrons just trying to get their drinks. Bars are a communal experience and sometimes it gets three deep here. She's not bothered by it, as long as they don't knock her off the stool but she slides her stool closer to him to give a little more space there to her side and another plus is she's closer to him. She inhales his scent and a tremble moves along her spine.
She smiles as he accepts the toast.

Her head lifts and the smile widens then gives a soft shake of her head.

winks at him even though he couldn't know if any body is missing out on anything.
Granted they are enjoying flirting with each other, and the smiles and laughs have been refreshing, there is definitely an attraction becoming electric between them.

A not unwelcome response, but also one with a disparate sense of expectation. I wonder at series of events which handed this number into their hands, at the motivations of such a broker. Perhaps the link was an older one still, a time when my interests and my desires were markedly different from now. A time when such an invitation would have been all I needed, where my own selfish indulgence was all that mattered regardless of the prize.

I tapped out a response, brief and direct. There was no advantage to be gained in the acquaintance, no upward trajectory or elevation into celebrated circles. A naked desire every bit as shallow as their presumption. A conquest of nothing, but perhaps for some that was more than enough.

Another mouthful taken and this time the silence dragged on. My eyes flickered back to that arresting image. A game was being played. The familiar tease of old. A growled sigh as I leaned back, closed my eyes and took a slow breath, soaking in the refreshing coolness of the cave while the wait tightened my imagination
