The pillow from the corner was being put to good use; it was where she had returned after pacing the room length and width. She knew the exact size; every board, both floor and walls, and the ceiling had been examined for lack of something better to do. With legs folded beneath her, the soft humming broke the otherwise silent room. Windowless, the room was stifling; the bota of water long ago emptied lay flat upon the wooden planks of the floor. There had been a small pitcher and cup of water brought with an earlier meal; it sat forlornly nearby as she traced a pattern in the dusty floorboards. What few words she had exchanged with an unfamiliar raider had stepped in and out to leave the meal, could be counted upon the fingers of one hand. Inside her mind, stories and memories kept her company, as aloneness weighed heavily on the delicate caramel shoulders

Working along side Raiders without a sound.
