"Deal." For just his data. Echo pops a datashard into the port just below his right ear. Uploading everything he had on Kurtz, his lieutenants, Echo's own combat readouts, and mission performance during the battle.

Paz had already doxed him about as hard as he could've been doxed. Why not at least make money off of it? Besides...if you really wanted this data, you'd get it free of charge.

Echo is just as nervous as Kendo. But for once, he's not showing it. Those affirmative pings from scan of The Brain Jar relax the very slight tension in his shoulders and face.

Okay...NOW they'd done it.

Echo pops the chip out of his head and hands it over.

"I'll let the rest of the crew know." He's not sure who will participate. But money was money.

There was a tiny bead of sweat on his right temple. Millimeter by millimeter sliding down from real skin to godawful chrome cheek. Whatever you just offered Echo was lost on him. He's too tense. Too nervous.

Waiting...expecting...if his teeth could move they'd chatter...

And then the transfer. Kendo nearly falls over. Before straightening himself up and holding out a datapad for you to place your handprint on.

"Excellent. A pleasure doing business with you. I just need your signature that the goods are verified. Pure formality, really. You or one of your..."

IRIDIA's attention wavered between Kendo, Renner, and Echo Fenix.

If he looked to her for her vibe, IRIDIA seemed apprehensive. It wasn't for a more relatable reason — her data was entangled across a basket of broken mirrors, to such an extent that she wouldn't even be able to cleanly sequester what is and isn't relevant to Renner's request in the first place, so she didn't count herself as among those who could collect the bonus.

…but rather than communicate that, she just played aloof as though ten grand didn't mean much to her.
