Kendo waits in his office for the arrival of Mr. Fenix with his prize. Feet up on his desk. Leather chair leaned back. Eyes blurry but fixated on the double doors that led out into the hallway. Waiting, waiting, waiting...

He was going to get a new face. Fix the damage done from that unfortunate incident with The Maelstrom. That's what he was going to do right after his promotion.
