Elarra chuckled at Rip's modesty, appreciating his humility even as she felt a warmth spread through her at his words. She watched with a fond smile as he interacted with the calf, a picture of unexpected companionship that brought a lightness to her heart.

"I'll try to keep my expectations in check, then," she replied playfully, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "But I must say, Curly seems to have taken quite a liking to you as well. Who would've thought a cow could make such a good friend?"

As Rip spoke of where to find him, Elarra felt a sense of relief knowing where she could seek him out. His offer to listen to whatever she wanted to talk about filled her with gratitude.

"There's so much I want to catch up on," she said, her voice soft with sincerity. "But let's start with Keziah. She's new in town, and she's... different, in a good way. I think you'd like her."

Elarra nodded in agreement as Rip mentioned the unfortunate incident with the smelly man. "It's a shame that people still judge others based on something as trivial as skin color," she said, a hint of frustration in her voice. "But Keziah handled it with grace, and I'm grateful for that."

As Rip looked over her attire, Elarra couldn't help but feel a twinge of self-consciousness. His reassurance, however, put her at ease.
