You slipped out of his embrace and he made several quick movements to grab you, laughing as you make it to the grand piano. He is smiling liking seeing this side of you.

His brows rise as you tell him of that secret hidden passageway in the old library hell that has been a rumor around her since he was a child

"Now how did you find out about that...did you beat it out of one of the servants."

He chuckled his eyes dancing with mischief

"You and I running around the old library looking for that hidden passage sounds like quite the adventure to me one never knows what might be hidden there or maybe locked away gone insane with years of being alone."

Now wouldn't that be something a creature that was once a human. Yeah, he has always had quite the imagination ask his mother she will tell you.

He stepped right up to you grabbing your hand and turning towards the door

with everything held tight larl left the fire behin...making her way to the serving wagon in search of the wash basin for which to place them...they would be washed in time by one of us...larl was missing her owner..He'd come in only to turn around and go back out...

larl never got what she wanted...a night to rock the wagon...hopefully it would be soon

Knowing the water wouldn't jump into the buckets and get back to Camp by itself, she unhooked one from the yoke and waded into the water to fill.

Humming softly as the running water quickly filled it, she set it onto the dry grass and did the same with the other bucket.

She really only had an incomplete picture, if nothing else than in acknowledgment over just how highly gigi prized her privacy. Maybe it was defensive — Holly did always seem to loom a reckless energy over what panned out to be a well-cultivated garden on her end.

It made sense to limit their exposure, both you and Holly's, for different reasons.

"Uh…" a hesitation interrupted her cadence as she cautiously rose from where she was seated, caught somewhere between rushing over to console you or to make sure the labels on your new supply were properly and clearly legible. Last thing she'd want for you right now would be to take something or some amount by mistake.

"…f-for what it's worth, you were one of the few authentic people in her life. I can't even count myself among them, even if we got into business together. Did… did you know?"

Well you must have known to some extent, given their tax-convenient agreement, but still.

"…you were good for her. Like objectively-so."

She didn't have the details of just what happened or how, but gigi was on a good trajectory as far as she was aware, and it sincerely appeared to start when when she redoubled her commitment to you. Maybe it was correlation, but Holly was convinced it was causation.

At the water's edge, a huge sigh escaped parted lips as she knelt to let the yoke slide from her shoulders. Instant relief.

"That's kind of the question, yeah." A self-conscious shift of weight, along with a sheepish shrug. "If I'm helping out with the war criminal, um, I'm pretty sure I'm not equipped to survive. I'd really like to survive. Briar would also like that." He might be stating the obvious here.

"I'm not sure what I need? I was, um, hoping you might have some ideas. I probably need armour. If I need a gun, um, I may need you to show me how to use it, and I'm not sure I wouldn't be more a threat to us than to them? Unless it's something kind of automated, I guess.

"Probably not for this excursion, but uh, I'd also really like some kind of way to obfuscate my identity. I don't think the goofy mask and sunglasses were, y'know, super effective. Plus, totally wrong vibe for Cell.0.phane. I guess I maybe don't need tech for that, but... maybe tech could do it?"
