Redirecting his attention to the pair of you, he adds, "uh, my friend - the one I told you about? He designed a necklace for you, um, one that filters out some of the chemicals and pheromones. It's a temporary solution, and um, you can turn it off if and when you want, but..." he trails off, reaching into his pocket for the little box he's got it in and setting it down on the table between them.
