"Where's Cash?"

She'd looked around for the dog. Usually if you were on the beach you had Cash. Hell, she'd have liked to see him. She'd been thinking about getting a dog herself, but she's never home enough .

She noticed how the mood changed when she'd arrived. Looking as both Dylan and Talia had left and you even went quieter because she called you out on outting someone. She didn't yell, just made a point to you.

Out or not it's that person's story to tell. That's how she feels about it.

She's fuckin' hot, isn't she?
Holly glanced at you, and then glanced to Talia, too.
Damn!

Now that they've served cake for most other folks, they're finally taking a piece for themself.

They try to not look disappointed, when you say you can't poing them anywhere. "I guess that's fair. I was kind of hoping there were, I don't know, resources, but... it's all so personal, that makes sense."

Nothing ever is that simple. They've figured that much out.

"I guess that makes sense, too."

Holly Blanc -

He is devouring his first piece, because he can.

"You think he was serious about that?" Blinking, a little stunned.

"He seemed really sincere about reaching out, so like... I will. I feel like I need to spend time thinking about projects, if I want to do a real collab."

She'd give a wave as you left.
Maybe even a slow glance. Nothing wrong with looking.

Keeping on theme, she left it to Leo to answer instead of answering on their behalf, but in her defense she had a hand over her heart as the cake was distributed to partygoers.

Tyler laughed and waved merrily from the makeshift DJ booth, which wasn't really a full DJ setup but it let him manage the pop music playlist.

The King twins, of course they remembered the pink haired athlete and waved back from where they were scarfing down their own cake, macros be damned.

Speaking of twins, Holly turned to pout-again at Talia Amin.

"Oh noooo, I hope they feel better—Oh!" Hazard pay? She did hear that working around children mean you get sick all the time as a result.

"Alright, have a safe trip Talia! It was nice to meet you!"

Leo Sterling gets a return of his wry look, though Holly couldn't keep a straight face because she broke into a giggle as she tried to pick out maybe… mmmm, let's do a square of that galaxy chocolate cake!

"Alright, well I'll tell ya what, I'm excited about a possible collab with Dylan or anyone at Ouroboros or maybe just a cool star-power connection he might make for you, you know? He knows a lot of resourceful people."

A reassuring nod. You'd checked at the top of the day how he wanted to be introduced. As far as they're concerned, you're good.

"Yeah, Holl checked in with me, before we started today."

A laugh at that.

"I do follow through on my claims, so there is that."

Brows lift at that look, and that mischief. Fighting a laugh at your words.

"I'd be disappointed if you did, I think."

A quiet groan as duty steals you again.

"Alas, but understood."

If you let them, they are going to steal a kiss before letting you get out of reach.

"Thanks for coming, Talia!"

Holly Blanc -

Icing where it oughtn't be is just an excuse to lick icing. So says the baker.

A quiet laugh. "Clearly, I don't, no. I'm deeply impressed."

You get a wry look. "You keep saying that, and it keeps not being true. You do so many things so well, Holl."

The blush makes a reappearance at that last comment.

"It is, yes." The naughtiness.

Talia Amin -

Genuine concern in his expression. "Oh no, I hope they feel better. I guess cake won't help?"

And then you're off.

He repeated, in almost a hushed tone. His lips curved back into a smile.

A lovely name, for a lovely woman. I'm lucky to make your acquaintance tonight, my dear.

As he said that, he lets his eyes drift down from your own. Making no attempt to hide the way that his gaze slide down from your face, over the slender line of your neck and then down over her curves. He made it seem like there was a weight to it, as if you could feel the way his eyes swept over you.

In her mind, he would push back against any attempt to hide away from that hungry appraisal. In fact, there was a subtle suggestion for you to shift to give a better view.

"Your friends? Yes, I see them over there. From where I sat, it did seem like they were getting a little loud with their singing.

I assume you came this way looking for a bit of a break. A break from the rowdy crew, just for a few minutes. A bit of quiet conversation.

Am I right?"

As he spoke, he tweaked your perception. Altered her memories of the last few moments. Not much. Subtle, delicate changes to make his suggestion seem like the most likely reason for your actions.

The twins are feverish and can't sleep.

Not quite an emergency, no. But... things are too weird for her to try to hold on for a while longer.

Besides, they pay extra for things like this.

Oh, if only you knew that she was a little nervous it was too cheesy a gift and that added to the sense of 'please don't open it on front of people' that she was feeling at the time. Not to say that parts of it aren't naughty, just not all of it.

There's a wiggle of fingers over her shoulder as she heads off into the night.

She took another bite of the cake. Giving a wave of her fork toward the twins and Ty.

Holly squeaked as she was sidehugged, doing her best to prevent icing from winding up where it ought not to.

"You don't understand how much I'm primed to drop a party out of nowhere, boo. I know it doesn't magically bring about world peace, but you know I'm a one-trick pony, right?"

And well, honestly she couldn't help the impression she leaves on others, but what can she do? She was no mind-reader and could only work with what she could personally see or hear. Maybe she was on the spectrum in some way? ADHD, for sure, but who knows what else was broken under her hat. It all sounded like shattered glass when she shook her head.

Talia Amin's phone came out and Holly paused between cake dispensing duties, looking over to her with a pout.

"Oh shoot, you don't have an extra five minutes for cake? Surely it can't be an emergency, no?"

The remark about the gift that couldn't be opened in front of people only made that pout turn into a devious smirk.

"Oh my god she's naughty, that's so fun!"
