You got through '—work—', and Mike was on the move. The sound of displaced and rattling bottles precedes his violent introduction of his metal'd knuckles into the back of Krank's skull. Having pushed off his cybernetic leg, the tumbling glass shatters at the moment of his full extension impact into The soft, pack-of-hotdogs flesh that did it's best to protect that fragile bit of spine-to-skull connection.

Which is to say, not enough. His fist hit's Krank with the sound of an aluminum bat that's been filled with water, dimmed sound of metal striking something with force.

Krank's Eyes keep their sightline, staring at MILLIE. The only problem is, his head whips forward and his body follows as he goes tumbling over the battered coffee table. He was completely blind-sided, sucker-punched, and crashed to the floor, wedged between the coffee table and the couch.

Peter the Eater looks down at Krank's body, and then to Mike, throwing his hands up into the air, shouting "I DIDN'T EVEN LIKE HIM ANYW—"

The bar, etched with I M across it's front, follows it's leaping punch into Krank's skull by smashing into Peter's nose.

Blood fires down his front like the world's grossest spit-take, and he tumbles backwards to fall through the bathroom door and land hard on the tile.

"Let's Go!"

Shouts Mike, at you, already moving toward the door.

Well, might as well buy a few more seconds, produce a bit of noise to keep the unsuspecting gangers' attention pointed forward.

She feigned a yawn and stretched, rolling slightly on the couch before staring, lazily, at the two.

"Oh shit, is this your spot? You don't mind if a girl happens to knock out for a bit in safe territory, do ya? This is safe territory, right?"

Shit, depending on how they answer, perhaps they escape an unfavorable outcome.

…at least until Krank and Peter's conversation continued.

Said Krank: "Aw you shouldn't have? Wait, how did you afford her?"
Peter answered: "Oh uh, ehehe… uh… Gongo gave me an advance on the last gig, said ya deserved it?"

MILLIE's pretense dropped.

"Wait… you guys work for fuckin' Gongo?"

"I do love Dee," he agrees, "and we were kind of fighting about Holly the whole time? I - I didn't realize shit, and then made bad choices, and - sorry, this isn't clarifying anything. Um." He thinks. "Also, my parents disowned me."

And I don't... there's no one else, and my parents cut me off, so I'm in a bind, financially, because I was living with Dee, and paying off Juilliard, so - Holly's been helping me get on my feet."
