two cages as our villain`s army is rounding up all the fairytale creatures and sending them away. You mom and dad bear in one and baby bear in another. Also you see momma bear with a bow in her hair. Now fast forward to Shrek`s swamp. Were all the fairytale creatures are and
see witch riding there broomsticks and so on.In the scene also is a papa bear hugging and looks to be trying to console baby bear.Who looks to be terribly upset .Understanding so. Missing is momma bear. Now that is important. We fast forward more to Lord Farquaad`s bedroom.As the camera is panning in you see what looks to be a dead bear as a bearskin run who happen to be wearing same color hair bow as momma bear in the fairy creature roundup. Theses are the same people who didn`t like a verse in the song Hallelujah. So they changed it
one of producers talks about this in the documentary about Leonard Cohen{who wrote the song}that the verse wasn`t appropriate yet again you kill off a fairytale character for what ? I mean this is suppose to be a kids movie after all. I did show this to someone yesterday.
Needless to say they were like ummm umm a bit shocked and surprised and then said I missed that .

   That said, I've not seen Shrek. But honestly, I could not get past Shrek's "I heard there was a secret chord" before clicking out. Hallelujah is a masterpiece. IMHO not one word or note of it should be altered... ever. If someone wants to say something else, they should write another song and leave this one alone.

   But that's just me.
