    i saw a commercial...repeated over and over because i was binging one show...and it's a sponsor...

it talked about self-care beginning with laundry...and using a formula that is good for sensitive skin...

i do that anyway (had to for MiLady Wife...but i still prefer the no-scent, no extra stuff version)...but i hadn't considered that...or doing laundry...as part of my Self-Care program...

There are a number of other tasks that are all about caring for Baron Igor...or us as a unit...something i'm going to have to sit with...see how it makes me feel about each (i mean...nobody feels great and noble scrubbing toilets and bathtubs)...

Anyway...something to consider...especially for those of who have a "service" aspect to our relationships...

Laundry is a breeze since I gave up ironing *grin*

I can't relax if the bathroom isn't clean...

Vacuuming and handyman-type repairs are the only inside chores my husband does ...it has always been that way, and I'm fine with that.

      Maintenance IS self-care.

When we walk into a clean bathroom, we feel good. The one who makes it clean gets to feel virtuous on top of that.

And yes, I have to remind myself about that often enough. :)

I've used non-bio laundry products for ever. Not least cos I had to go over to a really specialist one when my youngest was born and had severe eczema. Happily she's grown out of it as an adult, and it only affects her if she's stressed.

We also use a 'sensitive skin, no-scent, no extra stuff version' ... we both like it that way.
