Tomorrow I get my first eye done for cataract. I could probably use good thoughts and prayers for a steady hand for my surgeon, a beautiful Asian woman with tiny delicate hands. I have complete confidence in her. Then my other eye in two weeks. After that I will have retinal surgery for wrinkles in both eyes but thank heavens they knock you out for that one. I would image it will be a couple months before those two happen.
I will be really happy to just have one eye after tomorrow so I can stop using binoculars to see the birds in detail from about 25 feet away from my window.
I'm a little scared, but not much, but I could use a little more courage too.
