And then she got to the part about additional worries. "…oh, I mean if that's something that upsets her, how the hell are you two going to embark on a future together in the entertainment industry? What a great quiz..I knew all but number two, it seemed too obvious.

And as the band of the last one (yes, I have all their albums) is a favorite of mine, I got it.
Same as it ever was…

It's a bit scattershot, getting to know each other over rehearsals. It gives the feel of knowing each other well, a sense of trust, while also not leaving a ton of time for deeper discussions about them.

You've gotten glimpses of his essence, though.

It's a funny thing, that the money pressure hadn't been conscious for him, up until you'd asked. It's something he's been trying not to think about.

A confused cant of his head, at those intial questions. At least, until you continue. Then he's quiet as he considers that. "Holly, that's incredibly generous, and - I guess it might free my mind a little, but that's way too big an ask. And we want it to succeed on its own merit." Elodie's pride would be hurt, he's pretty sure, and his might be too. "But uh, telling your followers to come? That I would not say no to." Your social sway could definitely help.

That question has his eyes dipping down to the table, even as his head makes a so-so kind of waggle. "She's also really stressed about the show's success. Financially, and professionally. So there's that pressure in common."

A little shake of his head, "but no, that's not the whole of it. It's... I'm not even fully sure what it is, because she doesn't want to talk about it. I know it's kind of about how well you and I click, but basically all my friends are female and ridiculously gorgeous, and even if she thinks I have a crush, us being friends, getting close..." a helpless little shrug of his shoulders.
