The bedding she enjoys especially since they've been

With the spring has come more delicate shoots and abundant mushrooms.
Taking you with her deeper into the forest has become a thing of joy
for her yet she's feeling more and more over come by
a feeling of urgency of restlessness within her.
As you have hunted for game, she has hunted for berries
nuts and the green forage she eats. You and she bring back
the food to eat in the cave sitting companionably, learning
each others language, or trying too, often laughing at
the sounds the other makes.
Occasionally she sees your eyes on her, your expression
familiar. She's seen it in her own clan, especially at
this time of year. As she untangles her hair she sees
it again...that look. It makes her feel that feeling
again. That restlessness, that...urgency. Frowning slightly
she squats down on her haunches and picks a piece of grass
from the heap that you have laid down and idly nibbles it.

) Is play between JAG and another site good for JAG? Does it help with JAG growth?

Coming from another site and still enjoying playing here in JaG gives me a very unique and broader perspective on this subject. I have to agree with those who have commented before me that it depends entirely on who is playing and directing the play. There has to be a storyline that allows for a cross over or there is no point. People on JaG are not very HTML friendly and those of other sites are not used to this type of platform hence a storyline that will draw people over. There also has to be a common point where they can pick up from on either site. Rules do play a part as Gor has changed radically over the years due to dwindling numbers that has given rise to several liberal writing performances and latitudes. The rules here especially on this site have fundamental differences where forums/boards and private messengers are considered OOC. Other sites hold portions of their boards in character so people are accountable for their words. This stops people from mouthing off as it carries consequences in play. Private messengers are a matter of preference and mutual agreements between parties that share said messengers IC or OCC. Perhaps Jag should consider changing the board policy as I believe it will cut down a lot of drama.
Will it help with growth? If successful and controlled EGO's aside it should encourage growth. What I feel created the problem recently was there were factions of disgruntlement for the Wolves which have been an integral part of Jag across the decades who sided with the Room Leader and his flaming of the wolves and their members. It was natural that the pack of brothers would defend themselves. I have little doubt that there was wrongdoing on both sides however I do feel that in the spirit of a decent story and collective involvement, we should have set our egos aside. I naturally speak of the most recent attempt at cross-site play. I would also like to mention that the room leader who found it necessary to express his disappointment with the characters in JaG does not speak for the other site but for himself and his own small circle of influence.

2) Do you continue the play if site xyz pulls out of all play?

I doubt that it should cause all play to stop, the writers on Jag are too robust and resilient to just let things slip away into obscurity but rather pick up the mantle and run with the story taking it into their own direction. I do not believe that the play should stop, yes change the story or run it parallel to the original story but no it must go on. If you have committed to play, then play it out.

3) Can we at JAG agree on basic rules for this type of play?

Yes I believe that was the fundamental problem from the start that the rules that had been set by the Room owner were manipulated and changed and when others pointed it out they were subjected to a barrage of insults and condemnation not only by the Room owner but by those that were not a part of the play that felt it necessary to flame one side or the other. This only created dissension and a divide between one faction and the other, it was so unnecessary. I do believe that with the seeall people read the play and so feel that they should comment on it, that is wrong. If you are not playing then stay out of it. If the boards were made in character this would be eliminated. Anons should be warned via the site admin as they have the IP addies.
I believe that there should be a committee set up for these types of things with members from both sites seated on the panel. A clear mandate of what is expected and a code of conduct that should be enforced, It is imperative that there is input from all the other sites that are involved. With Gor and its players dwindling I believe that we should take this seriously as it is a wider problem than just Jag.
