The men milled around for just an ihn and it wasn't long before they were taking off towards the lodge. I was certain the kitchen mistress would have a hardy meal ready for them all.

There was a glint in your eyes when you asked if I was hungry but before I could answer, you had moved up close, matching each of my backwards steps with a forward one of your own. In a heartbeat, I was pinned against the wall, my hands gripping your tunic, and gazing up into crystal blue eyes.

A soft breath escaped parted lips.
