Song: Where Have All the Good Times Gone

Sitting in my black sedan near the dark road, headlights dimmed.Roadspikes set to catch the next car passing through.
Waiting and watching.

Neutrality, maybe, isn't what he needs in this moment. More like positivity, like this isn't a big, scary thing to wrestle with. A tension he didn't know he was holding evaporating. So no, don't feel bad about excitement. "I don't really know much? I haven't really had much of a chance to do a google dive, it wasn't really on my radar." It's almost embarrassing, but only almost. Because there is something freeing and joyful here. "Euphoria, that seems like a strong word? But it did feel good. Which has kind of left me with a lot to think about."
The meta has gone absolutely wild.
"It's more like I kind of have thought about it, but was pretty sure I wasn't a woman, or trans, but I didn't consider that there was an option that isn't either/or. And now I am." Clearly. Hands tuck into the tiny pockets his yoga pants provide. "I went to theatre school, and it kind of felt like being taught how to convincingly play male. Not like they were trying to force me into a box, but like... it was part of performance.
"It feels maybe like being weighed down. More like... constriction, though? Which I guess means limited. Especially when I'm with oth-" he cuts himself off, correcting mid-sentence "with men."
EYes finally flit back up to you. "I know I was saying associating gender and sexuality is archaic last night, but um, maybe I've been doing that to myself? I don't... I'm not saying I am non-binary. I just don't know if I'm not"
All of this, and no, he hasn't talked to Elodie yet. Which is maybe significant but clearly not his focus any more than it is yours right now.
"I just... it's a lot. Maybe I am a guy? But it feels like I should be sure."

"It always works." Echo-tech never fails. Most of the time. Like 84% of the time."Perry's coming with us. I got him an armor set and a gun." Meatspace, meet Perry.
Not surgery. Elaborate medical murder. Echo can't dress it up as morally good beyond Kurtz's War Criminal stats. He'll let you make your own moral calculations with that piece of info. But he gives your shoulder a squeeze and smiles.
"It's going to make all of us safer in the long run. Not just me and Haven." He didn't want to frame it as being just for them. It felt selfish. Even if it was the catalyst for starting this entire bounty.
Echo stands back up and moves over the other side of the workbench. That's the spirit! Already planning your end of things. Now he can contribute to the brain theft. Chuckling and shaking his head at the offer to scrap his borg parts for money. Echo shrugs. If they had the time and no killswitch bombs start going off...sure.
He walks back over to you with a device attached to his left wrist. He taps it twice with his finger to pull up a holographic schematic. It looked like one of his spider-bots on the base level, but the overall frame made it seem more like an eight-legged gas mask with two chemical canisters sticking out of the back.
"This is Slowpoke. Once we get to Kurtz and I have a clear shot, I'm going to send it after him. It'll launch itself at his face, lock-in, and pump him with enough Fentanox to disable his bios."
A mechanical facehugger that'll put him to sleep.
"I need you to figure out the dosage so I don't kill him."
