If MILLIE needed another reason why she couldn't hope to accomplish her goal here in the back of Nox & Chrome, that was it.

Strategically sound, from Ajax, to hole up here, and if she survived the night? Definitely tuck away that knowledge in the back of her head for future use.

The sudden wave of your voice against the background music might as well have tossed at her hair for how it almost grabbed her by its noise alone.

She slowed her current step, loose posture swinging that lifted leg to lazily catch at her heel, leave her contrapposto with one hand resting on cocked hip as her other touched up at the corner of her lightly glowing lipstick on the edge of a fingernail.

"Yeah? Duh — you think I woulda come out here and offer you an exit without any sort of whim or plan. We overnight the safehouse, I signal you're in copacetic, girls bring a truck out to D-Town gates tomorrow mid-day…" she spoke, barely having pivoted sideways to project back towards you, made easier to hear once you closed the distance.

Because then MILLIE would continue walking, right out of the club and towards the agreed upon motel not far from here, some Sketchy looking Dogtown motel called The Longshore Roadhouse. It kinda had an oldtimey vibe to it, a little bit out-of-place but all of the retro aesthetics were augmented by subtly integrated tech that made it more modern.

A fully robotic front desk made the usual bullet-glass unnecessary, a visage that stopped at mid-torso behind the countertop.

"I don't need a key, I got a room," she murmured on her way past, interrupting the standard greeting that started to issue by proximity.
