Rehearsals
Oooooooookay so with the opening night this Sunday, it meant they were bumped up to dress rehearsals and taking some last-minute direction from Elodie, their lovely director and writer and stageplay superhero.

So they were revisiting a scene, the one Brixton Walsh walked in on before except with a small re-write, where they were experimenting with 'Playful seductive' instead of 'Outright silly', and running through the scene. Maybe there was something a lil sus about the line: 'Full seventh-grade Alice experience' and followthrough.

Equal parts re-write and ad-lib, really, which once again put Alice and Ben at Alice's parents' place for her sister Lily's wedding, spending the night.

For this bit they were gonna see if keeping the retainer bit was going to clash with the new direction on mood, but that's where they were.

It put Holly in underwear, to which she apparently had no protest, carrying over a bit of the original script to initially have her out of sight as Ben saw a text notification on Alice's phone.

"Baby I don't think you're ready for this one…" She had to project a bit to be heard without a direct line of sight, at first.

And then she emerged from the bathroom, skimpy bodysuit lingerie to strike up a contrapposto against the strategically-angled doorway for one dramatic second before she lifted her retainer from behind her back.

SFX played an exaggerated plastic rattle as she fitted it to her teeth.

"Shexy-shexy…" There was no way to deliver this line with full gravity especially as she let the obscuring plastic deliberately muffle her voice, but rather than scamper over like a hormonal teenager in a tee and shorts, Holly's advance affected more of a dancer's prowl, an undulating cadence that spent extra time on every other step and then paused at the foot of the bed to dramatically plunge a knee over the sheets and push herself up on a tiptoe.
