You chuckle, and get a shy smile, even with the blush that blooms. "I - sorry, is that a weird thing to say? I mean, I can't speak for everyone, obviously, but - yeah." Okay, now he's flustered. Mildly, but flustered.

"Yeah. I'm going to be working on stuff I can use, from a net runner standpoint, but - it would be stupid to rely only on that."

He will carefully take the gun, feeling the weight of it in his hand. Yeah, it is definitely a different thing in real life.

As instructed, he turns to find the range. At this point, his stance is fully just trying to mimic what he's seen other people do. Then, lifting the gun, steadying the weight with his other hand, and he's going to try to use the red dot to line up his shots. His instincts aren't bad, he has a reasonably good eye, but it's also deeply clear he has never done this before. No compensation for kickback, his stance something like he's seen on vids, rather than based on something real - there's room for work.

There's at least some improvement, marginal improvement, with each of the few rounds he fires. Figuring things out, clearly.
