All of her insides, from organic to cybernetic, buzzed with rising nerves. It was a lot of faith to put into the conventions that were meant to protect them while they were negotiating the circumstances of them being hunted, and… well it only requires one time for you to be hit by a sniper while completely unaware for that to affect you for the rest of your life. Like no matter the environment, no matter the outward theatrics of safety and normalcy, that it could all break without warning.

Her attention darted here and there to the absolute overload of information near the heart of North Town. People walking, driving, going about their day, getting on and off of vehicles, entering and exiting buildings, some carrying on conversations with people unseen, snacking on this or that. Being normal.

Being without weapons made her feel absolutely naked, but if nothing else she had her Lada parked nearby if she had to race to it.
