Hired a neighbor 15 year old kid next door to my shop for the summer to learn a trade and make some money. Have him doing some organizing...spring cleaning of my shop.

Finishing up on a $6,000 three piece sofa two chairs project.

$20,000 simple Interior restoration on a 1964 nomad station wagon started.

Finishing up a $30,000 restoration on a 1969 Chevelle 396ss.

Bringing in a long lost friend on Monday to handle a $20,000 restoration on a 1940 Ford sedan delivery.

After the Chevelle gets done on Monday I put Rob back on the $50,000 1971 suburban truck conversion restoration in black leather.

I have a old 1490's viking chair to restore in a brown distressed leather for a guy now that leather has gotten here from Italy.

It goes on and on you see every day of the week 365 days a year.

I had a day off 12 years ago.

This is what I call "Retirement". 9 to 2, 7 days a week.

Ugh.

I want to play but my brain is just stuck in first gear tonight.

Tor Gardens
~She drifted the paths in the midst of a scattering of guards.. Tor-tu-Gor had long since surrendered to the the Tri moons but the hot season was blossoming in full force.. a walk through the gardens this time of season almost had to be at night.. and despite this being the coolest part of the night.. it's still sweltering~

~a slave with palm leaves worked to create an artificial breeze that made the stroll much more bearable.. as did people watching here and there.. those children who frolick in the pools had long since been called in for the night but there were of course occasional waders.. and often shameless slaves.. fortunately tonight the waters were still~

~she pondered the work load, light just now and wondered if it wasnt an opportune time to travel a bit.. anything North would be cooler.. and most everything is north.. just as long as its not too far north.. the frozen tundra is too much! weighing options as she walked along.. the plains are most pleasant this time of year.. but there's not a lot to be seen and as she thought of those she she'd once called family she knew too that the wagon people can be rather.. prickly.. even when one is well known to them... hmmm.... a tarn flight would be even more delightful.. talk about a breeze~

~at an intersection of paths the guards turned the course, directing back towards the city's center as she pondered the multitude of options.. one thing was clear though, it was time to go.. somewhere.. there was plenty of time to make a decision~
