yes very true

Rehearsals are going well. At least, he thinks they are. Elodie's hit ultra-focused, ultra-driven mode, which means she's pushing the cast harder towards perfection. It's bearing results, with the stress of opening night a week out, but it's intense. So Holly suggesting they blow off steam, taking the cast out to dinner had seemed a good plan.Outside of rehearsals, well, things are less good. Tense. It has Holly at the epicentre, he knows that much - Elodie gets tenser if he talks about her, or if he avoids talking about her. Which leaves Leo with a gnawing ball of worry that won't go away, because distancing himself from his costar isn't a thing he can do. It's not a thing he wants to do. It's not a fair thing to ask, and Elodie hasn't asked it.
All of it just means that Leo is more and more tired, more and more stressed, and if he's not at rehearsal doing his utmost to make things better. Especially as Elodie is kind of pulling herself inward. Less positive, less affectionate, the stress more and more evident. So he's stretched a little thing. A lot thin.
So it was nice to do something outside the rehearsal hall, socialize with the cast, eat some food. Elodie'd ducked out on dinner, to let the cast vent if they needed to. One by one, folks have headed off after eating, until it's just him and Holly Blanc, tucked into a booth together.
With just them, some of the shine he has been putting on to not let his own state of mind bleed into rehearsals ebbs away. "This was a good idea," he offers, fiddling with the straw to his coke. "Thanks for suggesting it."
As much as he should order something for Elodie an go, he hasn't quite managed to move, yet.
"That is very true. And Gor is an ever-growing learning process."
