his turn for cheeks to redden

"Dessert before dinner is probably blasphemous to someone, but I'll risk it." He nodded with his own bit of childlike glee.
You are easy to love *she nodded her head.. sincerity shimmering deep within pools of blue*
she smiles softly as she curls to His chair...nodding a moment as she watches....returning a soft kiss to Him feeling His touch to her...closing her eyes a moment...."rest well Master....i shall speak with You then..."

You get a small smile for your words. "Well, um, I definitely don't think like you, I guess. I figured even if it was bullshit, I would've learned from it. But, um, yeah, I respected Echo's choice, y'know?"
The worry radiates, even as he nods. "They may not be looking for me, but, um, plenty of other people are. So that's nothing new." Another small smile. "It's why my ask was stopping bounties on Cell.0.phane. I'm good, but uh, they just need me to be less good once, y'know? And, um, there's a real possibility they won't be able to follow up. Not on you, or Echo, or anyone."He didn't know him, like, at all. Literally did not know him. But his friends did, and that was enough.
"That makes sense. I, um, I know Echo kind of felt similarly. Haven was apparently more, um, in line with my viewpoint."
A faint frown. "Yeah. Um, Calamity stayed over a couple of times with Briar. And, um, Calamity doesn't do second nights. So Briar was in it as a person Cal was sleeping with, and who could be leveraged, I guess." This might be the first time you've heard something like anger in his voice, at least over something personal. "People were at Fables for weeks bugging Briar about it, trying to catch Cal." His head shakes a little. "No, I wasn't in it. Briar was, um, a way to get to Cal, and Paz didn't need a way to get to Briar, I guess." A slight quirk of lips. "Yeah, um, an associate of Echo's" That's at least where he remembers your name popping up.
A curious cant of his head, and a lean, because okay, that sounds cool. Then a quiet laugh. "Ah, um, yeah. I worked on this one. I, um, I haven't used it, because I'm more in the business of removing stuff than adding it in.
"But I can absolutely pare this down, and um, finesse it. I'm better than I was when I wrote it. Yeah, we can totally use this."

I like when they shoot it out of their trunks into the air. It is absolutely adorable. I just dont' understand why anyone would wnat a nose bath. That just sounds gross....she smiles up at you as if she was the happiest she'd been in some time....such a bounce to her step and she looked up at you...
Would you like a custard?
...pointing to the ice cream stand...
I think the question should be posed the other way. How have you put up with me?

A curious cant of his head, and a lean, because okay, that sounds cool. "That is brilliant, and could totally work..."
The randomizer is key. "I don't doubt he deserved it." His attention shifts to the screen over his head, hands lifting to sift through the code. "Yeah, we could totally work with this... I can pare this down, finesse it, and um, then it's just a matter of getting it to where their scanners activate it."

He did see her reach for his hand and then check herself, and he gave her a smile, hoping she knew it meant he'd like to hold her hand even as she tucked it behind her back. He walked with his hands together as he talked, "I know that I've seen them getting a shower with a garden hose at other zoos. I know that out in the wild, they give themselves a sand bath, and they do apparently enjoy water."
