Progress, right? Figuring it out as he(?) goes, as he talks. Using his own compass, instead of one he's inherited.

There's no shrinking back or apology, even if it's clear he's in a place of doubt, rather than clarity. It's the most relaxed you've seen his body language, possibly ever. He's not shrinking, and while he's taking up less space than he might in rehearsal, there's an ease beneath it - simply taking up the space he occupies.

Your descriptions have him both flushing and laughing, a giddiness in it. "I don't know you added 'hot', but, yeah, something like that. Definitely the HTTP double-backslash him, you definitely said that." You absolutely didn't, but it clearly is amusing him.

Truly, he didn't think it was possible to so enthusiastically hold onto the uncomfortable chairs. But you did impress him with your presentation from the word go.

You're absolutely in the business of theatre. Part-time is the norm, you just aren't waiting tables, you're being a badass business woman.
