"Yeah. It makes me choke up sometimes too." He smiles. Echo had lost everything six years ago. And up until August of last year...he was pretty much alone. He had all the same skills, the charm, the personality...he just never used it before August 1st, 2081.

"I was always afraid that if I moved on, I'd forget about my brothers and sisters. But I didn't. Nobody replaced them." Five years of his life were lost to fear.

Echo leans back enough for Chucky's arm to reach out and hand you a tissue. Your bot beat his to the punch. Echo nods at Diego to get back to work, which the bot promptly does.

You go to blow your nose and he leans back further. To arm's length with his hands on your shoulders again.

"Maybe ask Dylan or Haven to assassinate your stress hormone gland?" There's the saved joke.

"You hungry? Haven's been wanting me to order noodles a lot lately. I want something different." He didn't have the heart to deny her noodle delivery, but she was asleep and had leftover ramen in the fridge. They could order whatever they wanted.

"Sushi? Burritos? Sushi burritos?" The man wants sushi. Even if it's all just synthesized protein with chemical flavorings.

Once they decide on an order, they can get into more details on how to approach Kurtz's involuntary medical operation. And talk about your gang war adventures. And why you could do so much better than Vox Crescendo.
