Looking very interested as you name off the books and not a one rings a bell, but she would no doubt look them up later.
So are these murder mystery books or paranormal? *trying to get a feel for you* and if you mean the shirt or are we talking the sport? cause if it is the sport of course I do and rugby which is real football not soccer *laughing* what we call football. *winks*

Port Korat
The woman stood near the corner of a rough-hewn small building, a stack of crates and barrels provided a wall of sorts to her back, as golden eyes studied the wharf with its array of peoples much different from Schendi's ports but in many ways the same. She was watching for the flag, and a shackle and scimitar would be the saving grace if there were one. Every ship was studied while her stomach growled; the last meal was provided by the healer as well as the gown she wore. That bit of information about the "Luna" who left the food and gown was gained from listening to the men as they escorted her off the ship, leaving her alone, without shoes, a cloak, and no purse.
The ship with the flag was her only hope. Another night spent between barrels was not much to look forward to if she made it that far. Ports were dangerous places especially for a woman alone. She was calmer again on the outside. Her features, shaded by the cloak, only held a brow furrow while she stood vigilance looking at the ships, but the rage simmered; she was bruised, exhausted from the storm's wrath, a night spent on the wharf hiding in the shadows, sore, hungry, and homesick, and so she watched.

As for the spoils, I had decided that each of the men would receive a set amount of the gold and jewels for their excellent work. Starting with the most senior of them, I gave them a choice of either one of the kajira or portion of the paga and kalana that had been taken. I knew that some of them already had as many slaves as they wished and didn't wish to crowd their wagons. The slaves could be sold of coarse, But then they would have likely just used the coin to buy paga and kalana anyway. There had been a supply of siriks in with the goods. As well as a neck coffle chains and other restraints for the use on slaves. I planned to leave the slave wagon behind as there were not enough beasts to pull it after the wagons we were taking were loaded.
Each slave had been burdened with a pack on their back loaded with more things of use. They were each fastened in a neck coffee as well as a sirik. Instead of being leashed or bound to our saddles, they would be chained to the last wagon following behind it.

Yeah, he did not expect her to know who he was since she wasn't from the US. He thought about his catalog a moment."I've written 'The Pestilence', that's my recent best-seller. 'A Dance with the Devil', 'Constance', and a few off-the-cuff books. I'm about to start on the sequel to my best-seller soon. My agent is after me over it. I have just had a few setbacks lately."
He sat back in the seat and tossed his own question out.
"Do you follow Criquet?"

the mood is calling... for me at least.
May the transition be peaceful as she continues on her journey. And may you also find peace in the transition. Love and blessings to you both...

those words sent shivers up her back * maybe the way He said it * she lifted her blue orbs gently to meet His and instantly say that wicked smile ...knowing immediately what it ment ... * again a blush over creamy cheeks as she tried to hold emotion in ..* find her voice just above a whisper
Aye Master * is all she could get out *
