Well it was also that she kept no secrets outside of… um… the ones about crime.
Is it weird that she considers all of that a lower level of secrecy than anything to do with her mindset, her feelings, her life? Like they slotted into completely different categories to the point where here, on the rehearsal stage, she was fully transparent as Not-A-Criminal-Holly?

That she just spoke plainly about her parameters, and that somehow permitted her to really immerse into this role without a care for any potential negative consequences as a contrast to you, and your situation.

"O-Oh, yeah, I mean we could absolutely workshop the specifics, turn a few dials and find a good spot?" she nodded with enthusiasm, one hand still on your shoulder just to stabilize herself and give her a reason to retain this posture.

Sat up a little bit on her knees so that she wasn't sitting on it, even if it lofted such a bizarre and suddenly-confrontational angle to hold with her just dangling in your face but if she got up, that salient shape was going to be sticking out of the otherwise flat contours of the bed, and they only had to hold that for another few moments as people quickly shuffled around to go take their break.

"…uh think about baseball? Or old people?" look, as a not-a-penis-haver, she realizes attempting to prescribe advice was stupid but she felt a bit useless and somewhat responsible, and she couldn't stop the furious cascade of color that started at her cheeks before appearing to infect the rest of her skin everywhere, exaggerating the contrast of her otherwise cream-colored underwear.

How is it that as soon as she retreated from Alice, even though she egregiously based this particular scene more on herself, that now she felt a lot more exposed? More cognizant, and not in an exactly comfortable way.

…but everyone else was being mercifully professional, which helped dissipate a bit of that nervous energy, but she now felt herself performing invisible laser-beams like she engaged you in a telepathic staring contest, like hey look my eyes are up here. Are your eyes up here? Do I look like a crazy person in lingerie slowly becoming awkwardly aware of the passive radiation of climbing body heat?

"U-Uhhh… what do we think of maybe the line: 'This takes me back to dancing to Shake It Off…' as a less weird way to make a time reference?"

Just padding the time and pretending they're just talking shop while she was poised above you as she was
