At first light the camp was broke after the Men had been fed and the slaves and beasts were watered and fed. Back in the neck coffle wearing their burdens upon their backs, the slavers followed behind the second and third wagons. For a while I had consider having all the slaves on the same neck chain. The males would be in the last two places on the chain. This would have of coarse forced the males to follow behind the naked females slaves, forced to watch the sweet and delicious sway of their flanks as they moved. To see what they would not likely have again anytime soon. For it is rare that a girl is thrown to the male work chain as reward to them or as punishment to her. It would make them think about what they had done by begging life as a slave over an honorable death.

But I had not done that for the simple reason that they were compliant for now. Making them see what they had given up, could stoke the fire is resistance and rebellion. Making them harder to handle.

No this was best, and placing them behind the last wagon, the wagon that would be left behind in case of attack. It loss would not be as great as if we lost the females slaves as well. The females would be throw atop the goods in the second wagon in that case as it and the first wagon would distance themselves towards the Wagon Camp while the Riders fought a rear Guard action
