wonders if katy had warned you about Me
she is a girl who likes to be used hard once the drugs take away her inhibitions
Thanks. I'll post in eventually now that shit is settling down.
True. But he does have some interesting shit there.
Welcome back, by the way!
BlackStone Manor
Just chuckles and nods as he walks with you and disappears into the manor.
Technically that was an Echo job, he was just funding it through Paz since Maul was her asset. But Dylan's name would have been attached to the AAR that Nobu did and passed over. Also, we have established that the Paz Files are multi-layered and taking awhile to decrypt. So if you want something to come out later it's always possible. This is the gift that keeps on giving!
Well, I see ways it could be interesting. I really do.
BlackStone Manor
He saw that you know that look you gave your wife"If you say so Boss."
He laughs softly as he turns slightly towards the house and begins to make his way there
"There have been a few major things going on around here, you know me always right on with the reports and thorough, might have to have a second pot of coffee to get everything in and handled."
RuscheStorme
He does enjoy seeing how you are with Braiden he is an adorable little one for sure. He just might be helping you spoil him
"We are coming woman dang."
And soon they are following you into the manor
Foyer
And into the foyer and beyond she goes, braiden in her arms as she goes on with some fabled story already.
And honestly you don't even have to deal with it if it's not useful to your story right now, either, like I don't mean to apply pressure lol
NCPD
Fortunately, he's got inner ear upgrades as part of the cyberdeck enhancement. Motion sickness and zero g problems are a thing of the past! Pressure differentials from a suborbital launch does bad things, but that's a case of mild poisoning instead of inner ear issues. Also, he's viewing things in smaller windows. Your acrobatics are appreciated, but he's got other frames of reference to focus on and keep himself under control. The synth-tuna is staying put.You pull through and he's grinning at the acrobatics of you making it into the ceiling. It's a small window with a visual feed, but he can tell the grace as you move. You're absolutely making this look easy!
"Damn. That was an impressive performance. I think we make a stellar team here! Ready for infiltration. Also, what makes you think I didn't go looking for secondaries? I didn't actively ask for stuff, but... There's quite a few people here that the Mox would like to get sprung. I've got a list once we get access, and if I can poke the case files I can manufacture some creative errors that would come to light on the next review to kick them out early."
You connect the data cable, and the digital interface of the NCPD's data fortress opens up before us both. Most of the civilian stuff is relatively bright and rendered and user friendly. This, however.. This is the digital equivalent of the old Brutalist school of function. It works, but ooof is it clunky and blocky and no-frills. SovOil would shed a single small black tear of approval at this.
But that access means that it's now Nobu's time to step up and go to work. You've done the hard part in acquiring physical access. Now it's time to do the other hard part!
"I've got access. Spoofing root access on the local terminal... And I've got credentials. We're in. Focus on the physical, hon. I've got the digital, and if you give me ten minutes at most we're golden."
The windows of the camera views surrounding this were spread out, and Nobunaga went to work focusing on the new window into the NCPD network. Given that this was an administrator in the CSI department, he was fairly close to where we needed to be digitally speaking. Once he had the access to the rest of the network, it was a matter of moments to find the login server and spoof a remote access request from one of the CSI officers who was tasked with babysitting the Paz files. Again, insider access for the win. Nothing beats watercooler gossip for knowing what you're supposed to be looking for!
The authentication ping from outside the system is granted to get him inside the system, and then once there's that layer of digital camouflage it's time to query for these directories. This is where it starts to get tricky... This is the sort of access the Dweller is supposed to watch for, and if a flag is tripped it'd trip all sorts of alarms. However, due to all the distractions tonight... We've got a better than even chance of things pulling through!
1-2: The Dweller is busy getting poked by the Tyger Claws, and won't notice something as unsuspicious as a routine request for an update on a low-priority program.
3-5: The Dweller is busy getting poked by the Tyger Claws now, but might get a notice of problems in the future!
6: Welp. That alert was unexpected!"A deep jade or amber might go a bit better... Wine red would have to be carefully chosen. Also, you're entirely welcome and I'll do my damndest to ensure that the version of you who DOES give a damn about Bamboo sticks around."
I totally forgot that Paz was behind that!
Yeah, what IRIDIA said
That's up to you though. If Dylan did a job for Paz(the IRIDIA/maul) rescue, she could grab as much or as little info as you want
It's totally up to you for what you'd like to do with Dylan's story! If it's good, then finding out the "Why" could be a different exercise entirely. Could just be he had a strong aura about him that made her feel like she needed the ammo, or something more substantial if you want it to spiral out and begin informing a subplot for him to follow?
