This hurts a lot. This is why we cannot have nice things. Writers, creatives and people that enjoy role play without judgement and gossip. I too have been where you are but I have just let it go and with the grace of my mate learned to ignore those that are toxic.

There are those of us who want to play in a happy place behind the keyboards no matter what is going on in play, behind the keys we want to encourage and see others being successful in their play. Their success becomes ours as we play with them.

You, Lavanya and the five were great storytellers and it hurts to see you leave even if I do understand the reasons.

You will always have a friend here who welcomes any of you.

There are those that hate, gossip and act like kids… talking in mails and whispers about others out of pure meanness and jealousy. Those that sit spewing toxic bull shit and bold lies just to turn others opinions.

I pity those because their lives must be so empty that they have to tear down players to feel good about themselves. Kings and Queens of drama, nothing I want at all.

I wish you well, all of you and hope that you do not have to endure this wherever you go.

Your play has been such a joy to read and learn from and I will sorely miss reading new play.

Would appear that, the straw has broke the camels back. The rumors, the gossip in Jag has always been toxic, with no positive out come. I left Jag a very long time ago because of that sort of thing and haven't been back since, except recently for the last few months, only because it was Lavanya's home.

I only ever wrote here, to support her and what she does and it would appear the gossip that's being spread out is the culprit to many writers leaving this site. Now, when people gossip about me, I don't care. Nothing anyone says here affects me in the way people hope as its been something I have been aware of for a long time. In part, now, Jag has lost five people in the last month because of gossip, false statements and hurtful words.

It has nothing to do with Gor. Its the people at the keyboards that are doing the damage. Jag really needs to look closely to those that do this and Jag will continue to dwindle.

I've never been one to support Gender Bending or people that have multiple characters. Never been my thing but I know that people do it, and we cannot do anything about that. However, with that being said, its not my place to tell people what they can and cannot do with their online time. Not my dime, not my time.

So, what happens is people try to send messages and whispers, trying to toxify people, causing hurt feelings and discouragement among writers that destroys the literature of so many great writers.

Lavanya has opted to shut down Turia for good. I was skeptical of this, but given the ruthless attacks on her character and the drama that has been building behind the scenes that none of us get to see except those that cause it, its unfortunate it has come to this.

The world is changing, and the people in it are too. What use to be normal thirty years ago is not the normal it is today. The Gor that didn't allow gender benders and or multi player people is long gone. My personal opinion isn't ever going to change on those two fronts but its also not my place to tell people they what they can and cannot do in that respect.

I might not like it but, then so what. I have forged close connections with people, and that to me is all that matters. Not what people whisper about, not what happens in the rooms, doesn't matter what the story is, but when I talk with the writers of those characters, I'm talking to people with a sense of humor, I talking with people that have heart, that have imagination and a whole lot of love.

The Gor I know isn't about who is playing who, or why their story is a certain way, it just doesn't matter. The point is being missed here folks. Connect with the people that are at the keyboard, and when that connection gets made, things fall into place. People tend to stop gender bending, they tend to stop being more than one character and this has been tested, tried and true. Just stop with the harassment and poison pens. Nothing ever good comes of it.

So, All my members in Portal of Dreams, which are half those that came from here, looking for a way out of the dark and are so done with Jag that I'm sorry to see the bridge get burned by closing Lavanya's Turia forever. It was working, our bridge connected people to one another. People that never saw Jag, now were exposed to it, and those that never knew about Port of Dreams were now seeing a whole different community. The toxicity of Jag has reached a breaking point.

It needs to stop.

So, the stories that have been developed here are going to be transferring out of Jag permanently. I will not be renewing my account, nor will the five other people that have left this place. There just isn't a reason to stay any longer.

I attempted to discourage this from happening but, sometimes, enough is enough. I really had hoped that after all these years away that it might have become better, but really its just become worse. No one is taking responsibility for their actions on what they say and how they say it to people. I can only hope the next generation will do better because this is getting old.

Turia is closing it's doors to the public only. If you as a writer whom wants to participate in what's going on in Turia, special invite will only be given to a select few. There is no more welcoming people of Jag into a thriving city that has now over twenty new members. The life of Turia is stronger than it ever has been before and it will continue to grow, but not with the poison pen writers that try to manipulate situations and people.

Turia is very much here, but it'll be made available to only select few. Request to enter is and will be made mandatory.
