I was planning to keep my thoughts to myself.. but since Ive been called mouthy and opinionated right here in Jag, why bother? ~chuckles~ I do agree with much of what Budo posted.

It doesnt have to be them vs us. Ive spent time on other sites too. I called PoD home for quite some time. Each site seems to have its own clique of regulars and its own "culture", which also happens in real life communities, workplaces etc.. if you want a thriving, healthy culture, you have to cultivate it! Like everything else, it takes clear communication. Basic respect. Honesty. Personal integrity. and maturity! I want to play with people who behave like grownups. Conflict happens. How you handle it speaks volumes about you as a person, and forms your reputation. It can also fuel a great story.

1) Is play between JAG and another site good for JAG? Does it help with JAG growth?
It could be good and could nurture growth in the role play community as a whole. Deceit causes drama and mistrust and that's the underlaying issue. The reality is, we role players are a dieing breed. =/ What once used to be sites with hundreds of players and rooms you could barely keep up in, is just spread thin these days. younger generations engage differently, and maybe all this typing/writing the story is too much work for them LOL

2) Do you continue the play if site xyz pulls out of all play?
Absolutely. I take whatever comes in play and make the best of it. Its part of the challenge, isnt it? To write off other people.. even if they vanish.. maybe make up a story and plant them as dry bones in the desert ~chuckles~ use your imagination and continue on, NOONE can hold your story captive.

3) Can we at JAG agree on basic rules for this type play
The basic structure in Jag is that, its up to each home/room owners to set their own room rules. I believe that guidelines for cross site play fall into that domain. We also have the responsibility to make sure that newcomers read the rules, so that they understand that they might be different in every room in Jag.
