During their training, the girls are asked to refer to the maps on the website to help better acquaint themselves with their new home as well as aid in the way they visualise it.Urd asked what the numbers on the map of Scagnar Village represent. This is a great question.
I recall someone (I can't remember who) started to update the old key a few years back as some of the names of the buildings had become outdated. I guess it never was completed.
I'm hoping one of the longer standing Isle citizens (You all know who you are :) ) might recollect what they are, or better still, have a copy of the original key.
I'm pretty sure number one is the Bluetooth tavern and Sea Mist Inn? I recall one of the buildings by the wharf (possibly number 5?) was a fish shed where the bonds would clean and gut the fish.
We built a grist Mill some years back, perhaps one of the buildings by the river of Norns could be that.
My Jarl, Jarl Jonas, can we please get a new key for the map?
checks the stock of mead in her Jarls storage, hmmm there is some wines that may be of use…. Grins and saunters off to find the prez and 1st vp
Will do!!
Of course my Jarl! Your old baseball number, how could I forget that LOLAnd hahaha honeycake, my Jarl DID say we could make our own. And like all GOOD union offices, it will need a well stocked bar! LOL
Nyr, please update the map to make number 14 Jarl Aros's lodge and sleen training area. Thank you ~smiles~
14 is ME! LOL (inside joke)
my Jarl has replied that yes if you want to add the sleen area near his steading.
we should make 14 - bondmaid union office, lmao
My bad. It was Jarl Danr who was the blacksmith. I think I am getting old LOL
Maybe 14 is Jarl Aros's sleen training area?
That sounds wonderful nyr. And I like the idea of the herb drying hut.
... and yes we can move the Grist Mill.If #7 is the Greenhouse, maybe 16 is a drying hut for drying herbs.
If we do not determine what 14 is, it can be removed and the numbers that follow shifted up.
Yes, that number can be moved, as we can move any of the numbers if desired, and numbers can be removed or added.
What do you all think of this?
It's what I have come up with so far based on the information people have given me and from what I recall from the past. There are a couple of numbers that I have no idea what they are or what they can be, please give your input if you have any thoughts. Now would be a good time to mention if you have a business or home in the village you would like on the map, perhaps it can be added.
Nyr, is it possible to have the numbers less randomly situated on the map?
1) Blue Tooth Tavern and Sea Mist Inn
2) Jonas the Red's Lodge
3) The Brewery
4) Aros’s Forge
5) Dry Docks
6) Svein’s Warehouse
7) The Greenhouse
8) Grist Mill (Nyr, is there any way it could be moved a little closer to the River of Norns?)
9) Fish sheds
10) Shay’s Jewellery
11) The Rune Stones
12) Beraly Wicked Clothing Store
13) Harbour Master's Office
14) No idea
15) Saddlery
16) No idea
Thank you nyr! You're such an asset to the home xx
I will be happy to update the graphics when we decide how we want the map and key to read.
Yes, one is mine. Beraly Wicked. Don't remember which one, however.
Tes, one is mine. Beraly Wicked. Don't remember which one, however.
Here us the map of Jomsbourg.
It would just be guesses, if I told you.You can make your own though, what Ri doesn't remember. One could be shay's shop, another could be Svein's house, etc.
That's great! Thank you honey cake. ~hugs~
Mistress Ri, I was hoping you would see this. ~smiles~
