Mom had that particular surgery a while back and it does as a matter of course, take some time.

Stopping in and getting my morning Dr Pepper
Sipping it at the bar, staring at the little silver bar With a J on it
As my fingertips trace over the heart carved in the bar

Smiling as I sit down my glass and pick up the jewelry, opening the needle
And pushing the silver point through my nipple, gritting my teeth
But pushing it through and closing it..
My finger wiping off the blood and as I bring it to my lips, I change my mind
And use it to put my fingerprint in the center of the heart.
Then finishing my soda I get up and head out to see my sister
